This classic looking card is based on details from the German publication Die Münchener Bilderbogen, a series of individual illustrated sheets published in Munich between 1848 and 1898. This type of silhouette illustrations are known in German as Schattenbilder. It received a Zazzle Today’s Best Award on April 10, 2010.
